2019 - 20
Back in 2019/20 I worked with Sefton council assessing some of their building portfolio. I was tasked to look at a selection of properties to see if there were any that could be converted to hospitality assets. I provided assessments and financial overviews on several, but narrowed this down to five. The council progressed two of these, Crosby Lakeside Marina and Southport Market hall. I provided several operating model options and full financial profit and loss forecasting which was used for cabinet approval and to help apply for central government investment from the Town Deal Fund.
Southport Market www.southportmarket.com was completed and launched in July 2022 and has been an incredible success story. Crosby Lakeside also launched in August 2022 as part of a phased programme.
