I was the construction Project Manager on site for 6 months for this £1.5m refurbishment of 40 bedrooms, ground floor bar, restaurant and wedding barn. It was discovered during the works that the grade 1 listed property had both additional asbestos as well as a crumbling gable end. I gained planning approval and sourced all specialist tradesmen to fully re-build in line with English heritage and local authorities. In addition, it required a power upgrade via a local sub-station to fulfil the required utilities for the kitchen equipment. Handed over on time and on budget.
